I thought 'New York Groove' had the most interesting rendition, though would have preferred the Ace solo '78 backing vocals. The other covers were well done, appearing in their original styles. My only reservation was the choice to include'Hard Luck Woman', and the meager artwork in Star Trek font.
One person found this helpful. That's the great stuff! This products showed up much earlier than promised and was in better condition than I anticipated! Hey, two songs in a row written by Ace! McMaster is back on lead vocals, not my fave singer in the world. Some go with the song, some miss the mark.
Dime may well have been the biggest Ace Frehley fan in the world. Darrell does throw some of his own personality into the song, but I think foremost on his mind was probably playing the song the way he remembered it. And he does.
This Ace rarity is the best of all reasons to track down this CD. The Ace bonus track is pretty much a compulsory purchase. Stay tuned. Sounds like a fun CD. Like Like.
