Yes, integrated is the best word to use here. The album begins with a spacey swirl before breaking into what might at the surface level seem a rock ballad. Fear not. BBT is not Journey. That voice—at once glorious and yet so inviting—beckons us back into the world of BBT. A small boy meets a statue. Yet, that still statue breathes motion, breathes a quiet enthusiasm, and breathes timeless heroism.
One of the finest moments of the album comes toward the end of this twelve-minute epic, as the lyrics leave the hero in the twilight between death and immortality. I would challenge even the most manly among you to get through this song without at least some water appearing—however fleetingly—in one or both of your eyes. True to northern mythology, the crow or, more traditionally, the raven serves as a messenger from the gods. Truly brilliant. Here, we find ourselves in the company of inspiring and inspired artists, building our community of hope and love against the twilight age in which we find ourselves.
Be human. Be fully human. A compilation of rollicking cuts from this Australian post-punk band that plays like a hybrid of the Velvets and the Stooges. Hum by Eerie Wanda. Forest of Lost Children by Kikagaku Moyo. Tokyo duo lay down free flowing sitar-laden psychedelic jams born out of blurry-eyed all night recording sessions.

Big Big Train April 28, Add to Wishlist. Listen to this album and millions more. First month free. Grimspound is the tenth studio album by the English progressive rock band Big Big Train. Following the release of their previous album, Folklore, the band had planned to release an EP called Skylon that would contain a handful of songs not completed in time to be included on that album. During the recording sessions to finish off the songs the band realised that they had enough material for a full album, deciding to release it as Grimspound.
